DELFT TABLEWARE DESIGN COMPETITION
The objective of the "Delft Tableware Design Competition" is to provide Delft horeca entrepreneurs as well as Delft citizens and tourists with a real Delft piece of tableware. Solutions need to be surprising, elegant, simple or just plain useful. As long as they portray a "Delft" feeling, giving the Delft "Brand" as such a strong, innovative and recognizable exposure. The "Delft Tableware Design competition" is open to all registered students of the Delft University of Technology (DUT), from all different disciplines. Students who have completed their studies at one of the DUT faculties less than one year ago are eligible as well. The contest is open to individuals, but teams of up to two students are also encouraged.
First Prize € 1500,-
Additional prizes 2x € 500,-
Up to five honorable mentions will be rewarded as well!
YOUR PRODUCT IN THE STORES
Besides the possibility of winning the prize money, on which the jury will decide, the BlueDot foundation will also look at all the entries to see if one of them fit the BlueDot label and are thus eligible to be produced. The BlueDot foundation will work together with the student to bridge the gap between this conceptual product to one which fits in the professional consumer market.
